This year, we were honored to support their 10th annual Turkeytastic Thanksgiving Outreach, helping ensure local families could enjoy a warm holiday meal.

For many families, the cost of a traditional Thanksgiving meal can be a challenge. The Smithfield Rescue Mission’s Turkeytastic program has spent the past decade bridging this gap, delivering complete Thanksgiving meal kits—including turkeys, stuffing, vegetables, and more—to hundreds of families.
These efforts are made possible by the generosity of local businesses, donors, and volunteers who share the mission of ensuring no family goes without a holiday meal. Supporting initiatives like Turkeytastic reflects Neuse River Homes’ mission to build more than homes—we strive to build connections, create opportunities, and inspire acts of kindness.
You Can Still Make a Difference
Although the deadline for food donations has passed, there’s still an opportunity to contribute. With a $35 donation, you can sponsor a full Thanksgiving meal for a family in need.
